Gobbler is a simple and fun strategy game that resembles tic-tac-toe, but with the option of "eating" the pieces. The goal is to get 3 pieces of your color in a row. Each player has 6 pieces of different sizes, the larger pieces can hide the smaller ones under them.

Players take turns. On your turn, you can do one of two things:

OPTION 1: Place a new piece on the board

Place one of your pieces on an empty spot on the board, or you can place it on a smaller piece (yours or your opponent's) if your piece is larger.


OPTION 2: Move a piece which is already on the board

You can take one of your visible pieces and move it to another spot. Here too, the new spot must be empty or there must be a smaller piece.

When you lift a piece, the one hidden under it will become visible. This can sometimes give your opponent an immediate win, so you have to be careful. As soon as someone has 3 visible pieces of their own in a row, they have won!
